Pamela’s Pattern Editing

Hello! My name is Pamela and I learned to crochet in 2013. Since then, I have made everything from blankets to bags, to stuffed animals, to clothing. I still have techniques that I would love to learn such as brioche or Tunisian crochet. I also love learning new crafts and have added cross stitch, knitting, and sewing to my skills.

I started my career as a chemist where I was testing pharmaceutical products to make sure they were safe to use. I ended up in a management position, but after a while I realized that was not the career path for me. I then discovered technical editing and it seemed like the perfect answer to my analytical, detail oriented, and creative mind. I had gained experience editing technical documents for the lab and it seemed like the skills I gained through that experience would continue to help me through this new endeavor. I discovered the Crochet Technical Editor course through the Tech Editor Hub and decided to enroll to make sure I started out on the right track.
